Speed record cars: Sunbeam 1000HP and Golden Arrow, 1/43 scale die-cast models

I’d share some 1/43-scale model cars I recently acquired: the Sunbeam 1000hp and the Golden Arrow—the very speed record-breaking cars I saw in person when I visited the Beulie National Motor Museum in the UK.

Speed Record Car: Blue Flame, 1002 km/h, 1/43 Scale Miniature Car

I acquired a model of the Blue Flame, the 1970-1983 world speed record holder clocking 1002 km/h. The nose pitot tube was damaged, so I repaired it. The overall look is quite well done, though the cockpit might be a bit too high.

Miniature Car 1/43 “Blue Wonder” Mercedes Racing Transporter

I bought a 1/43 scale model of Mercedes' racing transporter, the Blue Wonder. Altaya's version is the best among the various manufacturers. It skilfully recreates the 1955 curved body and the vivid blue paintwork. As a bonus, I bought Altaya's 300SLR and placed it inside to recreate the display at the Mercedes-Benz Museum.
